By offering mentorship and robust Training and Development opportunities, INDUS continues its pursuit to be the Employer of Choice.\nReporting to the Program Manager, the Combat Systems Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert to the CVN ROC, supporting CNAL Code N47 by providing technical analysis, CASREP response, and readiness recommendations for C5ISR combat systems maintenance, modernization, and repair aboard Nimitz and Gerald R. Ford class aircraft carriers.\nThis is a contingent position expected to be located in Norfolk, VA. The pay range for the position will be provided at the time the position is no longer contingent.\nWhat You'll Do\nProvide CASREP response and status tracking for C5ISR equipment, coordinating with ISEAs, warfare centers, and Ship's Force to track material and parts status.\nAnalyze C5ISR ICAVs, review findings, and provide disposition recommendations to TYCOM, the Combat Systems Officer (CSO), and Ship's Force.\nReview the ship's CSMP and planned C5ISR maintenance, modernization, and repairs for CNO availabilities, and estimate man-hours required to correct deficiencies with the CSMO/Ship's Maintenance Officer.\nAttend meetings and conferences to present technical analysis and data-driven recommendations on combat systems readiness; identify and help mitigate critical constraints.\nRecommend policy and procedural changes related to combat systems readiness, new construction outfitting, and new shipboard support programs.\nAnalyze weekly and monthly C5ISR status reports and support development of ROC readiness metrics.\nBid and proposal support if requested.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nAn active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.\nHS Diploma required.\n Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with distance support and onboard C5ISR repair issues, including coordination with ISEAs and warfare centers.\nMinimum of ten (10) years’ experience working knowledge of C5ISR maintenance, modernization, and repairs on CVNs, including combat systems databases and maintenance reports.\nMinimum of ten (10) years’ experience and working knowledge of combat systems policies, procedures, practices, and instructions.\nMinimum of five (5) years’ fluent experience with Microsoft Office products.Ability to clearly articulate technical findings and recommendations, in writing and verbally, to TYCOM and senior stakeholders.\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nDemonstrated problem-solving skills. \nMust possess strong time management skills. \nMust be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.\nTravel Required ~10% travel required.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.\nDesired Qualifications:\n Experience estimating man-hours and coordinating deficiency corrections with a Ship's Combat Systems Maintenance Officer (CSMO).\nComfortable presenting technical analysis and status updates in meetings with senior program and Navy personnel.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent CVN readiness analyses.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a distributed, cross-functional SME team.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time.
