This role assists financial system users with troubleshooting, data analysis, reporting, and process improvements to support accurate financial operations, audit readiness, and mission readiness to a federal Navy client.\nWhat You'll Do\nAct as the primary liaison between financial users and enterprise financial systems (Navy ERP and legacy systems such as SABRS and CFMS), ensuring system use aligns with financial policy and operational requirements.\nProvide Tier I functional support for financial system users via a ticketing system, focusing on business process issues, data accuracy, access requests, and financial transaction support (this role does not perform IT infrastructure or hardware support).\n\nAnalyze and resolve financial system issues related to budget execution, accounting, funds control, and reporting in accordance with established financial policies and procedures.\n\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities by assisting users with system transactions, reconciliations, and issue resolution.\nMaintain and update user access, roles, and supervisor relationships in Navy ERP and the Naval Identity Service (NIS) based on approved requests.\nIdentify trends in user inquiries and system issues to recommend process improvements, training enhancements, and documentation updates.\nDevelop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process Activity Streams (PAS), and job aids related to financial system usage and business processes.\nProvide training, briefings, and functional guidance to financial managers, analysts, and program personnel at the command and lower-echelon levels.\nParticipate in meetings and working groups to explain financial system functionality, policy impacts, and process changes to stakeholders.\nSupport audit readiness initiatives by assisting with documentation, system controls validation, and data integrity reviews.\nCollaborate with functional leads, program offices, and external stakeholders to improve financial system effectiveness and user adoption.\nDocument system issues, resolutions, and user guidance using approved knowledge management tools.\nPerform other duties as assigned in support of USFFC financial management operations.\nBid and proposal support if requested.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nAn active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited university required OR an additional 4 years of related experience or a relevant professional certification may be substituted.\nTwo (2) years of experience working with ERP or comparable DoD financial management systems, financial data, business processes, or systems analysis.\nSelf-motivated, possess strong technical skills, and be customer oriented.\nClearly communicate complex ideas to others through data, visualizations, verbally, and in writing.\nProficient with standard business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web-enabled collaboration platforms/applications.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.\nMust possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.\nMust possess strong time management skills.\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience providing Tier I Help Desk or functional support for ERP or comparable DoD financial management systems.\nKnowledge of United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) operations.\nExperience analyzing financial or operational data, developing reports, or supporting data-driven business decisions.\nExperience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, data validation, or process improvement.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data
