By offering mentorship and robust Training and Development opportunities, INDUS continues its pursuit to be the Employer of Choice.\nThe Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Business Financial Management (BFM) Team is acquiring Financial Management (FM) support services for NAVWAR Headquarters (HQ), Direct Reporting Program Manager (DRPM) and multiple NAVWAR Program Executive Office’s (PEO) programs and projects. The BFM Team promotes use of common business/financial tools and best business practices throughout NAVWAR and provides business and financial management support across all NAVWAR organizations. The BFM Team is responsible for management of NAVWAR's Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) phases to include: formulation, implementation and reconciliation. The BFM Team provides analysis and implementation of integrated command business management and financial processes and systems that deliver best business practices to provide accurate and timely corporate information. The BFM Team is chartered to provide corporate analysis and information that depicts the financial health of the Systems Command (SYSCOM) and associated PEOs, including product and service output, resource consumption, performance measures and is also responsive to sponsor and customer Requests for Information (RFIs). The BFM Team also performs business and financial management and acquisition support services across all NAVWAR HQ and associated DRPM and PEO organizations. These services include, but are not limited to: coordination and management of PPBE and fiscal resource management efforts, including liaison support in the collection of planning data and execution of spend plans.\nReporting to the Program Manager, the Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial management and acquisition support to a NAVWAR client. This position is located in Washington, D.C.\nWhat You'll Do\nProvide financial management and acquisition support to a NAVWAR client.\n\nDevelop and maintain spend plans, track obligations and expenditures, and conduct variance analysis.\nCollaborate with Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPMs), Assistant Program Managers (APMs), and APMs for Installation (APM-Is) to manage resources and associated data to execute and track all required funding.\n\nSupport all financial and planning documentation across applicable NAVWAR program portfolios.\n\nProvide inputs to a variety of DoD acquisition-related data calls and documentation.\n\nBuild financial management strategies and develop actionable plans to help clients secure and manage the funding necessary to achieve program goals.\n\nEnter, extract, and manipulate financial data from government-approved systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and other Navy financial databases.\n\nConduct financial systems data entry and maintenance to support accurate obligation, execution, and reconciliation of funds.\n\nTrack budgets, costs, variances, and funding status across multiple funding types.\n\nPrepare and analyze monthly execution performance reports; respond to ad hoc reporting requests and variance analyses.\n\nConduct financial modeling, forecasting, and cost-benefit analyses to assess program tradeoffs and explore alternative funding approaches.\n\nPrepare and review budget estimates, funding documentation, and financial reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established procedures, regulations, and objectives.\n\nResearch past and current budgets as well as economic and programmatic developments to inform planning and recommendations.\n\nDevelop and present executive-level financial summaries and data visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions), Access, and PowerPoint.\n\nCoordinate financial activities across internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of funding actions.\n\nInterpret and apply financial management principles, DoD financial regulations, and NAVWAR-specific guidance.\n\nPropose courses of action (COAs) and provide strategic recommendations to address financial challenges and support decision-making.\n\nBid and proposal support if requested.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nAn active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited university required.\nTen (10) years of experience providing financial management and acquisition support to a NAVWAR program office required.\nMust possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. \nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nDemonstrated problem-solving skills. \nMust possess strong time management skills. \nMust be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.\nINDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $140,000 - 160,000 per year. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
