Together, we deliver exceptional service to our customers and make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.\nAbout the Role\nThe Systems Engineer develops, reviews, and maintains technical installation drawings and engineering documentation supporting Navy shore-based Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. This role works with AutoCAD specialists, engineers, and technical stakeholders to ensure installation requirements are accurately documented, meet NAVWAR standards, and support successful shore-based system installations and upgrades.\nThis is a contingent position for anticipated future opportunities.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop, with the support of AutoCAD specialists, the technical requirements of Installation Requirements Drawings (IRD), Installation Design Plans (IDP), and As-Built drawings.\nReview IRDs, IDPs, and As-Builts to ensure compliance with applicable standards (SIPH and IRD), and to ensure hardware installations are documented in detail and provide necessary guidance for a successful installation.\nConduct surveys of Navy shore platforms in support of drawing development efforts.\nConduct ongoing assessments of shore installation issues relating to IRDs, IDPs, and As Built Drawings and their compliance with the IRD Standard and the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH).\nBe responsible to various data calls to provide requested information, including research, gathering, sorting and presentation.\nCoordinate with Subject Matter Experts and Project Engineers and provide reporting to Task Leads.\nUtilize and provide feedback to established Standards, company templates and SOPs.\nBid and proposal support if requested.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nAn active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.\nHS Diploma required.\nFive (5) years of experience providing systems engineering and/or AutoCAD support.\nFunctional knowledge and completed course of instruction for AutoCAD software and familiar with traditional drafting methods.\nExperience in creating AutoCAD drawings such as network interconnectivity diagrams, floor plans, elevations, building plans, landscapes, maps, electrical, electronic, and mechanical details.\nExperience updating existing AutoCAD drawing \"red lines\" to current state. U.S. Navy and/or NAVWAR Command Control Computer Communications and Intelligence (C4I) background related to shore installation upgrades.\nExperience with Naval Information Warfare Command (NAVWAR) SYSCOM PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER).\nFamiliarity with Shore Installation Process Handbook and NAVWAR IRD Standard, and FRCB process.\nFamiliarity with networking diagrams, concepts, and components.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD Dynamic Blocks and Attributes.\nRequires organization skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas visually.\nAbility to apply basic math skills to compute scaling and formulas.\nAbility to read, understand and interpret technical documents.\nMust possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. \nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nDemonstrated problem-solving skills. \nMust possess strong time management skills. \nMust be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.\nTravel Required ~10% travel required.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nMust be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe expected base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
