Participation in the on-call 24/7 rotation schedule is required every 4-6 weeks. \nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:\nSupervision and support of Facilities (FC) and Environmental Services Coordinators (ESC) in Norfolk/Oxford, including regularly scheduled check-ins focused on the following: \nPerformance\nStaff wellness\nGoal setting and tracking\nValues alignment \nCheck-ins with Regional Facilities Manager\nMinimum bi-weekly \nRegular check-ins with program manager/supervisor/representative (monthly)\nAssist coordinators with high-level, high-priority, or otherwise complex repairs when additional capacity is needed\nAssist in providing oversight of Preventative Maintenance Schedules \nIn collaboration with RFM, facilitate team events (work blitz, team building, etc)\nParticipate in the hiring and onboarding of new staff\nProvide oversight of work order management and completion\nOversight and management of Tenant Employees, in collaboration with FCs and ESCs\nVolunteer support, in collaboration with FCs\nAssist Manager in capital job implementation\nProvide oversight for Fire Life Safety checks and certifications\nSupport with POs, in collaboration with Manager\nCollaborate with HVAC team to execute preventative maintenance plans and calendar events\nCollaborate with coordinators on building certifications required.\nBack-up support for on-call emergencies\n\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING: \n2+ years of supervision experience, or a similar relevant experience\nA basic understanding of and compassion for individuals who have experienced mental health concerns and/or substance use \nA warm, sensitive, and caring approach\nAbility to maintain good interpersonal relationships and have a genuine interest in supporting people living with mental health concerns and/or substance use \nRelevant experience in trades, construction, or property maintenance\nProficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment \nRecent Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) with the information therein acceptable by Indwell to meet the operational requirements of the program- at one’s own cost\nCurrent First Aid & CPR Certification from an approved provider that meets Ontario provincial standards or willingness to register for the training within 30 days of employment-reimbursement by Indwell\nEffective communication via various means (i.e. phone, email, office 365 suite) \nPrevious knowledge of Yardi an asset\nAbility to stand, stoop, kneel, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 25 kilograms) as work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather\nA team player who is committed to upholding and modeling the standards set out in the organization’s Mission Statement and other operating standards and policies\nAbility to work independently, have strong problem-solving skills, be flexible, organized, responsible, and take initiative \nComfort with appropriate sharps disposal and training in biohazard clean-up are considered to be assets\nA Valid “G” class driver’s license and access to vehicle\n\nWe want you to thrive: \nVacation: 3 weeks (15 days) paid with 8 HEAL days (sick and personal appointments) per year\nExtensive Benefits paid: Extended health (100% medication coverage- some exceptions may apply), dental and vision care.
