Our Core Values include integrity, trust and loyalty.\nJob Title: LRDR Systems Analyst\nContract: SSPARS\nLocation: Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado\nFLSA Status: Exempt\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust possess good written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to explain results of analysis to both technical and non-technical personnel.\n Experience with command and control (c2) systems and/or phased array radars is desired.\n Sensor Manager Qualification Course (SMQC) is highly desired\nLICENSES OR CERTIFICATION:\nRequired to maintain a certification as a Missile Defense Radar Operator.\nBASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:\nThe LRDR Systems Analyst utilizes their experience, knowledge, and analytic tools to determine system performance in both the operational environment and the testing environment. The systems analyst supports the operations manager by performing the duties of an assistant manager.\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe systems analyst will interface with a number of external agencies to assess radar performance, deficiencies, and anomalous behavior.\nSupport the system via on call when outside of normal working hours.\nAnalyze critical system files such as the mission plan file, satellite catalog, and satellite task list for abnormal data or overflow.\nAnalyze computer/radar O&M logs for system or operator errors. Analyze daily uncorrelated target (UCT) rates to identify abnormal performance.\nReview the one-year library of computer system logs, ensuring the logs are properly archived and maintained.\nReview and analyze system calibration, operability assessment test results, ESPs and other indicators which give an indication of system performance utilizing the system calibration metrics on the Space C2 Agency website.\nAnalyze occurrences of system outages or operational degradation such as the following:False Launch and Impact Message or False Impacting Object Reports\nIndications of radar system degradation\nUncommon computer halts or hangs\nCAT 1 satellite misses;\nEMI\nFailure to track a real missile launch or significant portions of a real missile launch in coverage\nOther abnormal data, performance, and occurrences that may lead to a system failure.\n\nProvide analyses to support site operations investigations to the Director of Operations (DO), Operations Support, or SOC-B CMDR/CCH.\nProvide Problem Reports (PRs) to support site operations investigations by the DO, Operations Support, CMDR/CCH, or Installation/Site Commander. Submit a Deficiency Report (DR) for unusual and unique anomalies, or outages.\nGenerate an AF Form 1067 or Standard Change Form (SCF) prior to installing new software constants for the subarray test and element test installations.\nGenerate an SCF for system or software modifications for corrective or preventive action as a result of analyses or any other proposed system/software modifications.\nEvaluate and provide written technical analysis on any system modification/upgrade proposal or recommendation.\nMaintain references to any associated PR, DR and SCF and supporting data.\nDraft ICE plans and ICE reports as requested and provide data, supporting documentation and recommendations for all testing activities.\nInterface with Space Training and Readiness Delta Detachment 4 (Det 4) and other military personnel, as well as other contractor personnel, to support testing activities. Activities shall include, but not be limited to:Development\nTest and Evaluation (DT&E)\nOperational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and Installation\nCheckout and Evaluation (ICE) testing\n\nDevelop and maintain checklists to be used by site MDRO personnel.\nPerforms other analysis duties as directed by management.\nSUPERVISION:\nWorks under the supervision of the Operations Manager\nWill act as a supervisor at times as the Assistant Manager\nSECURITY CLEARANCE\nCurrently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.\nEmployment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nExerts limited physical energy. May have to handle 20-30 pound loads on occasion.\nWorking Conditions: Normal office environment. May work extended hours or weekends.
