Communication Designer (m/f/d) as a parental leave cover (part-time)

Your tasks

• Project-based and continuous development of the design of our brand
• Creation of image material, graphics and icons for digital and print media as well as explanatory graphics and social media material in close cooperation with the team
• Creation of briefings for the corporate image material including photographer support, image selection and maintenance as well as editing the photos according to the image look
• Creating and editing presentations in PowerPoint and Canva
• Implementation of the corporate design and creation of templates including instructions
• Responsibility for printing and promotional materials for trade fairs and events, such as giveaways, exhibition stands, roll-ups, leaflets, etc.
• Working in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and PowerPoint

Your profile

• 32 hours per week parental leave cover (October 2026 to March 2028)
• A degree or training in communication design, graphic design or a comparable qualification
• First professional experience in the design of digital and print media via social media, PR, web design, UX/UI, photography, video, knowledge transfer
• Excellent knowledge/confident handling of common graphic and design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Basic knowledge of Canva
• Creative flair for design and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Structured way of working and experience in conceptualization
• Team-oriented work and strong communication skills (English and German)
• Experience in working with marketing and PR agencies is an advantage
