Working within the CIO Office, the role acts as a bridge between IT teams, leadership, and business stakeholders, transforming complex or technical information into communication that is accessible, engaging, and relevant to the target audience. The role contributes directly to employee engagement, change adoption, IT visibility, and a stronger One IT culture.\nResponsibilities:\nIT Communication Strategy & Planning\nDevelop and maintain the IT communication plan aligned with CIO and IT priorities.\nCoordinate communication calendars, campaigns, recurring communications, and key IT events.\nEnsure consistency of messaging, tone, branding, and communication standards across IT.\nIdentify the appropriate communication channel, audience, timing, and format for different messages.\nContent Creation\nTranslate complex IT topics into clear, concise, business-friendly communication.\nCreate content for newsletters, announcements, presentations, intranet pages, Teams posts, executive communications, campaigns, and leadership updates.\nPrepare communication materials supporting major IT programs, transformations, organizational changes, cybersecurity initiatives, and technology rollouts.\nDevelop engaging visual storytelling, infographics, presentations, and communication assets.\nExecutive & Leadership Communication\nSupport the CIO and IT leadership team in preparing presentations, key messages, talking points, speeches, and internal communications.\nHelp structure management messages around IT strategy, transformation, performance, achievements, and priorities.\nSupport preparation of town halls, management meetings, kick-offs, offsites, and other IT events.\nChange & Adoption Communication\nDevelop communication plans supporting technology and process changes.\nWork with project teams to explain what is changing, why it matters, when it will happen, and what employees need to do.\nSupport user awareness, engagement, and adoption of new tools, processes, and services.\nAdapt communication according to different stakeholder groups and levels of technical knowledge.\nIT Community & Engagement\nContribute to building a strong IT identity and community.\nPromote IT achievements, success stories, innovations, teams, and people.\nDevelop initiatives that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across IT.\nSupport recognition initiatives and employee engagement activities.\nCommunication Governance\nEstablish templates, standards, and good practices for IT communication.\nMaintain communication repositories and reusable materials.\nCoordinate with Corporate Communication, HR, Cybersecurity, PMO, Quality, and other relevant functions.\nEnsure sensitive or confidential information is handled appropriately.\nMeasurement & Continuous Improvement\nTrack communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, feedback, surveys, attendance, and adoption indicators.\nIdentify opportunities to improve communication channels and formats.\nUse data and feedback to continuously improve the IT communication approach.\n Education & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Business, IT, Digital Communication, or a related field.\nIdeally 3-5+ years of experience in internal communication, corporate communication, change communication, or technology communication.\nPrevious experience working within an IT, technology, digital transformation, or complex international organization is strongly preferred.\nExperience communicating technology-related topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nGeneral IT experience alone is not sufficient. The person should have demonstrable communication experience.\nRequired Skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
