Your work will contribute directly to improving customer experience, reducing production risks, and supporting high-quality software delivery across multiple business domains.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work with modern performance engineering practices, enterprise-scale applications, cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms while continuously developing your technical expertise across different technology stacks.\nPerformance Test Planning\nParticipate in discovery/analysis sessions to understand business objectives and non-functional requirements (NFRs).\nAsses potential performance risks introduced by new features or architectural changes.\nDefine appropriate performance testing strategies based on business and technical requirements.\nDesign comprehensive Performance Test Plans/Assessment Documents, covering scope, objectives, workload models, success criteria, and execution approaches.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to clarify assumptions, risks, and expected system behavior.\nPerformance Test Execution\nDesign, configure, and execute various performance test types including:\nLoad Testing\nStress Testing\nSpike Testing\nEndurance (Soak) Testing\nScalability (Limit) Testing\nCapacity Testing\nOther test types (when applicable)\nMonitor execution progress, validate results, and ensure test integrity throughout the testing lifecycle.\nTest Design & Script Development\nDevelop reusable and maintainable performance test scripts.\nDesign realistic workload models based on production usage patterns and be able to propose proper approaches for load testing the applications.\nImplement parametrization, correlation, dynamic data handling, and reusable components either in new-script or by using existing frameworks.\nSupport testing across Web, Mobile, API, and microservice architectures.\nMaintain test assets following coding and documentation standards.\nPerformance Analysis\nAnalyze test results to evaluate:\nResponse times\nThroughput\nTransaction success rates\nError rates\nResource utilization\nScalability\nSystem stability\nIdentify performance bottlenecks and correlate application behavior with infrastructure metrics (from used observability tools) to determine root causes and provide recommendations.\nReporting & Recommendations\nProduce clear technical and executive performance testing reports (following pre-existing templates or from scratch).\nPresent findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDocument risks, bottlenecks, trends, and improvement opportunities.\nProvide recommendations to improve application performance, scalability, and stability.\nSupport development teams during performance optimization activities.\nAutomation & Continuous Performance Testing\nContribute to integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nSupport automated performance test execution using enterprise tools and APIs.\nContinuously improve testing processes, standards, and best practices.\n Required Technical Skills\nPerformance Testing\nExperience with one or more performance testing tools:\nPreferred:\nOpenText LoadRunner Enterprise\nOpenText VuGen\nOpenText Analysis\nNice to have:\nApache JMeter\nGatling\nK6\nNeoLoad / Blazemeter\nPerformance Engineering Knowledge\nUnderstanding of:\nPerformance testing methodologies\nPerformance Engineering principles\nWorkload modelling\nTest planning:\nPerformance bottleneck identification\nScalability concepts\nCapacity planning fundamentals\nPerformance analysis techniques\nProtocols & Technologies:\nKnowledge of:HTTP / HTTPS\nREST APIs\nSOAP\nGraphQL (nice to have)\nWebSockets (nice to have)\n\nUnderstanding of:Web applications\nAPIs\nDistributed systems\nMicroservices architecture\nMobile applications (nice to have)\n\nScripting & Programming\nKnowledge of one or more:JavaScript\nJava\nPython\nGroovy\nBasic scripting skills are expected for automation, data manipulation, and script creation & customization.\nOur main development programming language is JavaScript and usage of internal framework available in LoadRunner Enterprise.\n\nDevOps & CI/CD:\nBasic understanding of:\nGit\nGitLab CI *\nJenkins *\nAzure DevOps *\nGitHub Actions *\n* represents an advantage\nExperience integrating performance testing into delivery pipeline, following best practices, is considered and advantage\nMonitoring & Observability:\nExposure to monitoring platforms is a plus:Dynatrace\nAppDynamics\nIcinga\nGrafana\nDatadog\nSplunk\nELK Stack\nOthers\n\nAbility to interpret infrastructure and application metrics is considered an advantage. Understanding JVM and GC processing is also an advantage.\nExpected to:\nUnderstand performance testing fundamentals.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nIndependently design and execute performance test campaigns.\nCreate complex scripts and workload models following production patterns.\nDevelop reusable scripting components.\nPerform root cause analysis using monitoring platforms.\nProduce detailed Performance Testing Reports with in-depth analysis of applicative and infrastructure metrics & correlations.\nCollaborate directly with development and infrastructure teams.\nProvide optimization recommendations.\nSupport junior engineers through knowledge sharing.\nNice to Have:\nKubernetes\nTest automation frameworks\nCloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)\nInfrastructure monitoring\nNetworking fundamentals\nAI-assisted testing tools / scripting\nEnterprise applications & knowledge of cloud scaling practices (HPA / VPA etc)\nISTQB Certification
