grow in test automation and contribute to a strategic, high-visibility project.\nThis is a one-year engagement focused on test automation, test execution, defect investigation, and continuous quality improvement.\nThe role is ideal for someone with a QA automation background or a developer mindset who enjoys problem solving, learning new technologies, and working closely with both technical and business teams.\nYou will have the opportunity to work on complex applications, learn business processes, and contribute directly to the success of a critical delivery initiative.\nThe role also encourages responsible and effective use of AI tools for activities such as code assistance, test case generation support, test result analysis, documentation, and faster learning of technical topics.\nWhat will you do?\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and understand expected application behavior.\nCreate, maintain, and execute automated test cases for APIs, backend services, and applications.\nRun automated test suites and analyze execution results.\nInvestigate failed tests and determine whether issues originate from application defects, test scripts, configuration, test data, or environments.\nCreate and document defects, including logs, test evidence, root cause analysis, and reproduction steps.\n Use AI tools responsibly, where appropriate, to support test automation, debugging, documentation, and faster analysis of technical issues.\nSupport functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.\nMaintain and improve existing automation scripts and frameworks.\nCollaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Test Engineers, and DevOps teams.\nContribute to quality reporting and test execution monitoring.\nLearn project-specific applications, technologies, and business processes.\nContinuously improve testing and automation practices.\n1-3 years of experience in software development, software testing, or quality assurance.\nGood knowledge of Java.\nBasic understanding of software testing concepts and defect lifecycle.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.\nBasic SQL knowledge and ability to work with databases.\nAnalytical and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to investigate issues in a structured manner.\nExperience with Git or similar version control systems.\nGood English communication skills.\nStrong sense of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn.\nWillingness to make best use of AI tools responsibly to increase productivity, improve test coverage, accelerate troubleshooting, and support clear documentation.\nWe are also interested in candidates coming from a Junior Developer background who have strong Java skills and an interest in automation and quality engineering.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.\nExperience with Postman or API testing.0\nPrevious use of AI tools for coding, test automation, test case creation, debugging, documentation, or productivity improvement, such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.\nExperience with JUnit or TestNG.\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologies.\nExperience working with Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or similar tools.\nExperience analyzing logs and troubleshooting application issues.\nKnowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.\nBasic understanding of microservices architectures.\nExperience in banking, payments, or regulated environments.\nNice to Have\nSpring Boot knowledge.\nDocker or Kubernetes exposure.\nCloud knowledge, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nPerformance testing tools, such as JMeter or Gatling.\nMessaging systems, such as Kafka,
