We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to offer unique products for the analysis of toxic chemicals in the fields of disaster response, security, and environmental health and safety.\n Field Service & Technical Support\nDeploy, install, and configure FabGuard monitoring systems across multiple tool groups (Etch, CVD, PVD, Litho, etc.)\nProvide on-site troubleshooting and technical support for FabGuard software, hardware, and data acquisition\nDiagnose and resolve Windows system issues; perform PC installation, configuration, and cabling\nCreate recipes and data analyses using FabGuard for Fault Detection and Classification (FDC)\nDeliver customer training on INFICON products; identify improvement opportunities and new application areas\nProvide written and oral feedback on applications, process optimization, and installations\nData Acquisition & Systems Integration\nConfigure and maintain data acquisition parameters between FabGuard and connected systems\nSupport integration projects involving industrial protocols (OPC-UA, SECS/GEM, TCP/IP, etc.)\nTest and validate software updates; troubleshoot connectivity issues and data discrepancies\nStakeholder & Site Coordination\nServe as on-site point of contact for our customers' teams across multiple fabs\nCoordinate with out customer' teams (process engineering, equipment groups) on equipment readiness and logistics\nReport site status and escalate risks to INFICON EMEA and US management\nReporting & Process Improvement\nContribute to regular site status updates; identify and propose process improvements\nKnowledge Transfer & Training\nTrain our customers and contractor teams on FabGuard procedures; document site-specific configurations\nProvide cross-coverage support to other field colleagues as needed\n Technical diploma or degree in electronics, automation, industrial systems, or equivalent professional experience\nSolid working knowledge of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting\nStrong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and OEM equipment, including lithography, PVD, and CVD technologies\nBasic knowledge of vacuum pump and abatement system operation\nDemonstrated ability to test and validate software in industrial and manufacturing environments\nComfort working in cleanroom environments and compliance with all cleanroom procedures\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage directly with customer stakeholders\nPrior experience in semiconductor fabrication environments is preferred\nFamiliarity with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, SECS/GEM, Modbus TCP) is a plus\nFluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an asset\n INFICON offers a dynamic work environment that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion.
