We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.\n The Manufacturing Technician plays a key role on the production floor, performing hands-on assembly, testing, and rework with a focus on quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Assemble and repair products that meet or exceed quality, customer, and company goals.\nWe're open to candidates interested in either 1st shift, 2nd shift, or a weekend shift.\nEssential Job Duties\nAssemble, repair, and rework assemblies and circuit boards efficiently with minimal supervision, producing thorough and exact output\n\nAssemble and test mechanical components using test equipment, fixtures, engineering drawings, and Manufacturing Assembly Procedure (MAP) instructions\n\nPerform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery\n\nPerform functional testing on products using specialized test equipment\n\nSupport all areas of the production floor as required\n\nPerform data collection using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods\n\nMaintain inventory and perform transactions accurately using our inventory control system\n\n Basic Job Skills\nMechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in a similar environment a plus, but not required\n\nFamiliarity with hand tools, measuring devices, or electrical equipment a plus\n\nStrong fine motor skills\n\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\n\nHigh attention to detail\n\nAbility to work in a cleanroom environment with an understanding of cleanliness standards\n\nBasic computer skills a plus\n\nBehaviors & Ways of Working\nStrong work ethic - this is our most important requirement\n\nWillingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills\n\nWorks well both independently and as part of a team\n\nDependable and consistent daily attendance\n\nDrive to meet and exceed established goals\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nWe encourage candidates at all experience levels to apply. This level begins in our introductory program, which includes an assessment period with the potential for increased compensation upon successful completion\nCertifications / License\nMechanical Technology Certification preferred but not required\n\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires standing and/or sitting for extended periods\n\nMust be able to lift, carry, or move up to 20 pounds frequently\n\n A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $18.50-$24.00 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10% as well as 401K match up to 8% (vesting schedule).
