We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.\n Position Overview\nThis position drives the employee experience, leading operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and process integrity, and supporting scalable people programs aligned with business objectives. The People Operations Manager will have one direct report (Generalist) on the People & Culture (P&C) team.\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Operations & Compliance\nOversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal transitions, and offboarding\n\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations\n\nOversee immigration processes, partnering with legal counsel and external vendors to ensure timely filings, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance\n\nMaintain and update P&C policies and ensure consistent application across the organization\n\nProvide oversight of benefits administration and leave management functions, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely service delivery\n\nIdentify operational efficiencies and continuously improve P&C operational processes\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nLead the compensation benchmarking and annual salary review cycles\n\nOversee benefits programs and manage relationships with brokers, and carriers to ensure competitive and cost-effective offerings\n\nMonitor internal equity and external market competitiveness, recommending adjustments as needed.\n\nSupport the design, implementation, and communication of new or updated compensation and benefits programs\n\nAnalyze benefits utilization and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement\n\nEnsure compliance with all benefits-related regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and other relevant federal, state, or local requirements\n\nProvide data-driven insights and reporting to leadership to inform compensation and benefits strategy\n\nTalent Acquisition & Workforce Management\nOversee and manage the organization’s RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) partnership to ensure high-quality, timely hiring outcomes\n\nPartner with hiring managers and the RPO team to forecast staffing needs and align recruiting strategies with business priorities\n\nMonitor recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) and hold the RPO accountable to established performance standards and SLAs\n\nContinuously evaluate and optimize hiring processes to enhance candidate experience and employer brand\n\nContribute to long-term workforce planning and succession strategy initiatives\n\nEmployee Relations\nEnsure People & Culture policies and procedures are consistently applied and clearly communicated across the organization\n\nDirect employee relations matter to the P&C Business Partner(s) for review and resolution\n\nMaintain appropriate documentation and tracking of employee relations cases\n\nMonitor trends and provide high-level reporting to the VP of People to support compliance and risk mitigation\n\nSupport policy updates and internal communications to reinforce fair, compliant, and consistent workplace practices\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field\n\n5+ years of progressive HR experience, including people management or formal team leadership responsibility\n\nSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI PHR, HRCI SPHR, or equivalent credential; or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.\n\nProven experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive people initiatives and organizational outcomes\n\nStrong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices\n\nHands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar), including system administration, process optimization, data integrity, and reporting\n\nDemonstrated ability to leverage HR data, dashboards, and people analytics to inform decisions and improve employee experience\n\nExcellent communication skills, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving capabilities\n\nProven ability to coach, develop, and mentor People & Culture team members in a fast-paced, evolving environment\n\n The expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000 annually.In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%.
