The company in Åland, INFICON Aaland Ab, with approximately 120 employees, is the Group's competence centre for the development and manufacture of ceramic vacuum gauges.\n INFICON Aaland is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality & Sustainability department. Please note that the position is based in Mariehamn (Åland, Finland) and requires good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.\nYour Role\nAs Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead supplier management (complaints) in close collaboration with our incoming goods inspection team in Mariehamn. You will also work with colleagues across the INFICON Group in Liechtenstein, Germany, and the USA to ensure our processes align with the Group's unified standards.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor relevant supplier data and drive continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives with suppliers\nManage supplier qualification and re-qualification processes\nLead problem-solving (8D) methodology-oversee and guide suppliers' deviation management (complaint resolution)\nEscalate supplier-related quality issues when necessary\nEnsure suppliers comply with relevant quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH, Business Ethics, etc.)\nSupport quality processes across the organization\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering\nExperience in similar roles within the manufacturing industry\nBackground in quality assurance work\nStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nPragmatic and solution-oriented mindset\nStructured and self-motivated with the ability to drive and coordinate
