Engineer Applications Engineering

As Customer Support Applications Engineer (CAE) providing Technical Consulting and Design Support for Infineon’s products or solutions to Infineon customers.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Provide technical consulting for Infineon power solutions applications

  and related products to customers

• Help customers debug/develop applications using

  Infineon products

• Work cross functionally with Marketing, HW/SW development, and

  chip/solution design teams in supporting customers, collect

  IP/product/application requirements in the related area, by communicating with

  customers and internal teams

• Support and create product easy-of-use collaterals (e.g. ref. design,

  knowledge articles, application notes)

• Prepare and deliver product/application training to customers

• Focus on innovative, scalable methods to make customers self-sufficient

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems and focus on MCU/DSP related

  semiconductor products.

• Experience in C/C++ and Python programming Language.
• Good experience with ARM processor Architecture.
• Be familiar with embedded system hardware and

  software development including schematic, PCB layout, and firmware debug &

  build. Strong problem-solving skills from system level.

• Good knowledge and skills on common serial interface(I2C/SPI/UART/USB),

  experience on motor control/power supply debugging will be an advantage

• Customer-orientated mindset, great interest in

  interacting with various customer engineers

• Interest and ability to learn new technologies very quickly
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal in English and

  Mandarin

• 熟悉使用C/C++和Python等编程语言
• 熟悉ARM处理器构架
• 嵌入式系统开发，包括原理图、PCB布局、代码调试和构建，具有较强的系统级问题解决能力
• 熟悉常见的串口通信协议（I2C/SPI/UART/USB），良好的嵌入式系统编程调试能力，有电机/电源调试经验者优先
• 以客户为导向的思维方式，对与各种客户工程师的互动工作非常感兴趣
• 快速学习新技术的兴趣和能力
• 良好的英语和普通话的书面和口头沟通能力
