Work directly with key customers, leverage advanced power electronics technologies, and influence next-generation product roadmaps.\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\n Drive design-ins and design wins for industrial power applications, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Storage Systems (ESS), grid infrastructure, and renewable energy systems, through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and System/Product Application Engineers.\nUtilize simulation tools to model / analyze power device behavior under extreme operating conditions of customer applications.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements.\nWork effectively with internal teams, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.\nSupport and deliver successful technical training / seminar with company products and customer application knowledge.\nSupport Infineon product roadmap definition to fit, with strong understanding of key customers application trends and product roadmap.\nCreate technical documentation, applications notes, and training materials.\nActively drive technical exchange with key customer at the global level regarding new technical trends and new product requirement, system architecture.\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.\n2~4 years of experience in Hardware System Design, Power Electronics, or Applications Engineering.\nDeep understanding of power electronics systems, power conversion topologies, protection, thermal design, simulation and measurement.\nHands-on experience with IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs characterization, system validation, Safe Operating Area and Switching test with thermal design.\nProven experience in understanding and designing with Power Management ICs (PMIC), and Gate Driver ICs with understanding PCB design. (MCU H/W, BMS IC experience is not mandatory but preferred.) \nStrong conceptual knowledge of power MOSFETs, including Back-to-Back configurations. (Common Drain, Common Source, etc.)\nAbility to perform hardware-level root-cause analysis and system debugging for power electronics applications. \nGood understanding of magnetic component design of transformer and inductor.\nProficient with circuit simulation tools such as PLECS, CAD and SIMetrix or equivalent tools.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective global teamwork. \n(Preferred) Knowledge of battery characteristics, charging profiles, and hardware safety/protection architectures.\n(Preferred) MCU Knowledge and programming skills to develop software for high power converter.\n(Preferred) Understanding of firmware to facilitate hardware debugging and cross-functional collaboration.\n(Preferred) Communication protocol such as CAN, SPI, UART include Ethernet.\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
