Projects can include proof-of-concept demonstrations, reference designs, and application specific evaluation /development platforms. You will be part of Infineon’s Consumer, Computing, & Communication (C3) Segment, focused on Edge AI and IoT applications. If you enjoy creating creative system-level embedded solutions to solve real-world problems focused on Edge AI & IoT applications, then apply now!\nKey Responsibilities in your new role:Translate marketing requirements into technical requirements and specifications\nCreate hardware and software architectures for system projects\nDefine technical architecture strategy and direction for IoT system projects, serving as the team's technical authority\nMentor and guide junior and senior engineers through technical reviews and design feedback\nWork with project managers to develop engineering project plans\nCollaborate with cross-functional team members to create system-level solutions that can include Edge AI, wireless connectivity, human machine interfaces (HMI), motor control, and sensor fusion\nPublish software via GitHub and create technical documentation\nSupport go-to-market activities for solutions including conducting technical training, attending trade shows to demo solutions, and supporting lead customers.\n\nYour Profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (required);advanced degree preferred.\n10+ years' experience with embedded systems, IoT, and Edge AI\nExperience with C, C++.\nExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as Free RTOSor Zephyr.\nExperience with Embedded software or microcontroller platforms such as Infineon, XMC, PSoC, OPTIGA, Arduino, STM32, iMX RT or Raspberry Pi.\nExperience with hardware design and debug skills including PCB schematic review, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and hands-on board bring-up.\nExperience with Python scripting and data analysis, TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.\nExperience with model optimization or quantization for embedded AI (TinyML, Tensorflow Lite, etc.)\nExperience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and modern IoT protocols (Matter, BLE Mesh, Thread) including experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.\nExperience with embedded security fundamentals including secure boot, TLS/DTLS, and familiarity with Infineon OPTIGA Trust security solutions.\nStrong communication skills.\nCollaborates effectively across different functional groups.\nPreferred Qualifications:Experience defining or contributing to technical product roadmaps in collaboration with product marketing\nExperience with Infineon Modus Toolbox SDK and AIROC Wi-Fi/Bluetooth portfolio\nPublications, patents, or conference presentations in the embedded AI or IoT domain.\n\nContact:\n\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
