You will be responsible for managing complex cross-functional projects, identifying quality improvement opportunities, and ensuring sustainable implementation of quality enhancement measures to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\nDefine and scope quality improvement projects by analyzing quality performance indicators and identifying improvement opportunities.\n\nEstablish and lead cross-functional project teams across backend sites.\n\nManage the full project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.\n\nDrive problem-solving activities and implement standardized quality improvement measures across manufacturing sites.\n\nMonitor project progress, risks, deliverables, and effectiveness of implemented actions.\n\nProvide regular project updates, reporting, and escalation to stakeholders when required.\n\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, procedures, meeting records, and improvement plans.\n\nEnsure successful project handover and sustainment of implemented quality improvements.\n\nConduct validation reviews and site assessments to verify long-term effectiveness of corrective actions.\n\nCollaborate with global teams, subject matter experts, and site management to achieve quality objectives.\n\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nBachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, Semiconductor Technology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 6 years of experience in Semiconductor Backend Process Engineering, Package Development, or Quality Management.\n\nAt least 4 years of experience leading medium to high complexity projects in a manufacturing environment.\n\nProven experience in project management within semiconductor assembly and test operations.\n\nStrong knowledge of semiconductor backend assembly, test processes, equipment, and materials.\n\nAdvanced understanding of quality management methodologies and tools.\nSix Sigma methodologies\nFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)\nStatistical analysis and quality tools\nRoot cause analysis and problem-solving techniques\n\nStrong project management capabilities including planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder management.\n\nIPMA Level C certification or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.\n\nWillingness to travel to Infineon sites globally on short notice for project assignments and quality improvement initiatives.\n\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
