If you're passionate about embedded systems, low-level firmware, RF technologies, and scalable software architecture, we'd love to hear from you.\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\nLead the architecture and high-level design of scalable and modular firmware for UWB Radio/PHY platforms.\nDevelop and optimize firmware for UWB PHY/MAC in compliance with IEEE 802.15.4 standards.\nDesign and implement analog front-end and RF chain control/sequencing.\nPort, integrate, and optimize firmware on RTOS-based systems.\nDrive firmware bring-up, debugging, and validation using RTL models, simulations, and silicon platforms.\nDevelop and maintain unit test frameworks, HAL example applications, and software validation environments.\nIntegrate firmware development with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and quality assurance.\nBuild and execute automated regression, integration, and qualification test suites to ensure product reliability and performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \n8+ years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong expertise in embedded system architecture, design, C programming, MATLAB, and object-oriented concepts.\nHands-on experience developing low-level device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, Timers, GPIO) on ARM Cortex-M or similar platforms.\nSolid experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or equivalent, including task scheduling, synchronization mechanisms, and system integration.\nGood understanding of UWB MAC/UCI or wireless technologies including BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LoRa.\nExperience translating hardware specifications, register maps, timing diagrams, and state machines into robust firmware implementations.\nProficiency with embedded debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.\nKnowledge of low-power embedded design, including clock management, power sequencing, and sleep/wake mechanisms.\nStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
