Are you in?\nYour Role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\n Build, bring up, and debug SSPD evaluation boards and reference designs (SSCB/eFuse/eDisconnect).\nDiagnose and resolve customer system issues, including reproducing problems, performing root cause analysis, and recommending design improvements.\nDevelop and execute test plans and characterize performance across operating conditions and edge cases.\nCreate and maintain application collateral such as schematics, BOMs, layout guidelines, test reports, application notes, and user guides.\nCollaborate closely with design engineers to feed validated learnings into product requirements, features, and validation coverage.\nSupport customer prototypes during design cycles by providing hands-on lab support and structured guidance for successful integration.\nPromote and demonstrate SSPD products to prospective customers, align with sales/FAE teams, and communicate status, risks, and findings clearly to stakeholders.\nYour Profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed\nBSEE or MSEE preferred, or equivalent practical experience in electrical engineering.\n5+ years of experience in power protection and/or SMPS design, with exposure to wide bandgap devices (SiC/GaN).\nStrong hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, SMUs, plus board bring-up, soldering/rework, and safe high-voltage/high-power practices.\nDemonstrated ability to debug mixed-signal/power circuits, including gate drive, current sensing, protection thresholds, control stability, and thermal issues.\nCustomer-facing problem solving and communication skills, including translating technical symptoms into clear recommendations and documentation.\nExperience creating and executing test plans and proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE)\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
