Are you in?\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\nAnalyze product requirements towards functional test solutions\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to collect design and manufacturing requirements and ensure seamless integration\nDesign PCB interface solutions using Cadence PCB tool (Allegro / OrCAD) including schematic/layout as applicable\nCreate and maintain2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, including drawing checks and alignment with Infineon standards\nIntegrate test hardware interface requirements into PCB design documentation (interfaces, outlines, mounting, keep-outs, etc.)\nApply and improve existing company templates, rules, and design guidelines\nContribute toPCB design and innovation projects as a project team member or technical contributor\nWork closely with international partners from test engineering, package development, external suppliers, Infineon production sites, and external test houses\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\n5+ years of experience insemiconductor test hardware or automated test equipment (ATE) industry\nHands-on experience with Cadence tools (Allegro/OrCAD) for PCB design is mandatory - including schematic capture, layout, and design rule setup\nExperience with PCB manufacturing and assembly processes (DFM/DFA principles)\nExperience working with PCB designs\nProficiency inAutoCAD for 2D mechanical drawing creation and design checks\nStrong understanding ofPCB design fundamentals: stack-up design, signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, high-speed design principles\nUnderstanding ofdesign-for-test (DFT) principles\nFamiliarity with test hardware/fixture design is a plus\nKnowledge of industry standards (IPC standards for PCB design/fabrication)\nAbility to create and maintainc omprehensive design documentation (schematics, layouts, BOMs, assembly drawings)\nExperience in developing/improving design templates, guidelines, and best practices\nStrongcross-functional collaboration skills - ability to work with mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams\nEffective communication skills for interfacing with international teams, external suppliers, and production sites\nProblem-solving mindse twithattention to detail\nAbility towork independently as well as within a team structure (as team member or technical contributor)\nExperience working in aglobal organization with distributed teams across time zones\nFluency in both written andspoken English is mandatory\nAny formal certification in PCB design tools (Cadence Allegro/OrCAD) would be an advantage\n IPC certification (e.g., IPC-2221, IPC-A-600) is a plus \n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
