As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you’ll make a\nvaluable contribution to development projects by not only pinpointing but also\nanalyzing faults through electrical and physical analyses. In this role, you\nwill be responsible for planning and conducting inspections and analyses of\nindividual semiconductors and integrated circuits from Infineon Technologies,\nworking to solve a wide range of technical problems, and actively contributing\nto the development of new analytical methods.\nPerform and document basic to moderately complex failure analysis on semiconductor devices, including customer returns and qualification failures\nConductstandardelectrical characterization, fault localization, sample preparation, and physical analysis\n\nEvaluate and interpret analytical results to identify failure mechanisms androot causes\nDocument findings in the relevant databases and prepare technical reports in English\nDefine and recommend appropriate next analysis steps in collaboration with experiencedengineers and technical experts\n\nSupport troubleshooting and problem-solving activities by providing accurate and timely analysis results\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nA degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field\n\nFirst experience of semiconductor technology and good knowledge of electronic circuits and measurement techniques\n\nRecent graduates are welcome to apply, ideally with relevant practical experience gained through internships or working student jobs\n\nStrong\ncommunication and presentation skills in English\n\nWillingness to learn new methods and technologies, combined with a quality-conscious\nmindset and strong teamwork skills\n\nEnjoyment of working in a laboratory\n\nFluency in English (written and spoken)\n\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
