If you enjoy solving complex silicon challenges, identifying root causes, and working across manufacturing, test engineering, and customer quality teams, this is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality and customer success.\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\nPerform electrical failure analysis on customer-returned PSoC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth devices.\n\nDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer quality issues.\nConduct ATE testing and debug on Ultra Flex and other industry-standard testers.\nAnalyze manufacturing and test data to identify yield detractors and process excursions.\nSupport front-end and back-end yield improvement initiatives.\nLead test time reduction and manufacturing cost optimization projects.\nQualify new fab sites, manufacturing process changes, and transfer activities.\nPerform lot trace analysis and statistical investigations on production data.\nExecute bench-level, DC parametric, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and system-level testing.\nGenerate comprehensive Failure Analysis and 8D reports for customers and management.\nPartner with Sales, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Design teams to support new business opportunities and volume production releases.\nPresent technical findings and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nBachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, or a related discipline.\n\n5+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Customer Quality, Yield Engineering, or Failure Analysis within the semiconductor industry.\nStrong expertise in electrical failure analysis and semiconductor device characterization.\nHands-on experience with UltraFlex testers; exposure to Advantest, Verigy, Maverick, Magnum, or similar platforms is highly desirable.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor physics, manufacturing processes, and failure mechanisms.\nProven experience driving FE/BE yield improvement, test optimization, fab qualification, and process transfer activities.\nSolid knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies, including:8D\nDOE\nFMEA\nFishbone Analysis\nWhy-Why Analysis\nIs/Is-Not Analysis\nFault Tree Analysis (FTA)\nStatistical Yield Analysis\n\nExperience preparing customer-facing FA and 8D reports in Word and PowerPoint.\nStrong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.\nExposure to automation, scripting, or data science tools is a strong advantage.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and senior stakeholders.\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
