Are you in?\nYour role\nKey responsibilities in your new role\nPlan, design, perform and evaluate process experiments for new power technologies (including DoEs), such as IGBT, Si freewheeling Diodes and SiC MOSFETs\nTake responsibility for the definition of required unit processes for the technologies including process stability assessments\nJoint technology development with partner frontend sites in Europe\nProactively collaborate with R&D partners in all divisions, frontend and backend, unit process development and process integration\nTake responsibility for the entire process chain (process of records) from the bare substrate until the diced and measured die\nDevelop and characterize new process control structures and test structures for electrical measurement to ensure stable production\nCoordinate physical/chemical/electrical analysis to gain deeper understanding of potential failure modes within the technology\nYour profile\nQualifications and skills to help you succeed \nMaster's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or any semiconductor (Frontend) related field\nSeveral years of working experience in semiconductor industry (ideally R&D background or process integration, WBG expertise preferred)\nA solid technical background and expertise in semiconductor technologies, frontend or backend processing and integration\nPractical experience in performing electrical measurements with power device analyses/curve tracer and wafer probe stations as a plus\nProgramming and AI prompting skills (Python, Mat Lab, etc.) as a plus\nProject management experience as a plus\nFluent English skills\n#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.\nAs a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
