Prior mainframe or federal government experience is not required. We combine AI solutions, commercial expertise, and complex business logic to address government and federal agencies’ biggest challenges.\nJOB SUMMARY\nAs a Business Analyst, you will work with experienced business analysts, project leaders, clients, developers, and testers to gather and organize information, document requirements, support testing, and maintain alignment across teams supporting a large enterprise application. With guidance from senior team members, you will learn to translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and other documentation used by globally distributed development teams.\nCandidates must be able to work effectively in a remote environment and maintain regular availability during established core business hours, including scheduled collaboration with clients and globally distributed teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport senior business analysts in gathering and documenting business needs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\n\nParticipate in stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, client discussions, and team review sessions.\n\nTranslate business information into clear, well-organized documentation with coaching and review from senior team members.\n\nDevelop a working understanding of enterprise applications, including mainframe, batch, online, web, API, and distributed-system concepts.\n\nWork with developers, testers, architects, and project managers to clarify requirements and resolve questions.\n\nHelp document process flows, data needs, business rules, system behaviors, meeting notes, decisions, and action items.\n\nSupport requirements traceability and change tracking throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nAssist with functional testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of completed work.\n\nHelp investigate defects and production issues by gathering facts, documenting findings, and coordinating follow-up activities.\n\nLearn and follow federal government processes, documentation standards, security expectations, and compliance requirements.\n\nCollaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across global locations and time zones.\n\nMaintain accurate, timely, and professional communication across business, technical, and client teams.\n\nTake ownership of assigned tasks, ask questions, incorporate feedback, and continue building business and technical knowledge.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, data analytics, finance, communications, or a related field, completed or expected by the position start date; equivalent relevant education, training, internship, military, or work experience may also be considered.\n\nAbility to document meeting outcomes, business rules, process steps, decisions, assumptions, and open questions in a clear and traceable manner.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly and accurately.\n\nDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills through coursework, internships, projects, or work experience.\n\nDemonstrated Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate effectively with both business and technology professionals.\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\n\nAbility to manage assignments, meet deadlines, and work on multiple priorities with guidance.\n\nStrong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and continuously learn.\n\nAbility to work independently when appropriate and collaborate effectively within a team.\n\nInterest in enterprise technology, software development, process improvement, or government services.\n\nDemonstrated ability to use AI tools to translate complex ideas into clear, well-structured documentation.\n\nFoundational ability to review data, identify patterns or discrepancies, and summarize findings accurately using spreadsheets or similar tools.\n\nAbility to obtain US Federal Government Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship, academic project, or work experience involving business analysis, software development, testing, data analysis, process documentation, or
