You will be an AI First developer who works the full lifecycle of application development.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nBuild and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.\n\nParticipate in modernization initiatives that migrate legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.\n\nDevelop integrations with enterprise platforms, databases, third-party services, and internal systems.\n\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.\n\nSupport application deployments, release activities, and production issue resolution.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and enforce secure coding and development standards.\n\nDevelop unit, integration, and automated tests to improve software quality and reliability.\n\nAssist with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.\n\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation initiatives.\n\nLeverage approved AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.\n\nMaintain hands-on Java development experience.\n\nStrong experience with:\n\nJava 17+ (Java 21 preferred)\n\nSpring Boot\n\nSpring Security\n\nSpring Batch\n\nRESTful APIs\n\nMicroservices Architecture\n\nSQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)\n\nExperience with:\n\nGit and GitLab\n\nCI/CD pipelines\n\nREST API testing using Postman or similar tools\n\nJSON, XML, and web service integrations\n\nApplication monitoring and logging platforms\n\nExperience with JIRA and Agile work board management.\n\nDocker\n\nKubernetes/OpenShift\n\nAgile/Scrum delivery models.\n\nAbility to obtain US Government Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience deploying applications to AWS.\n\nExperience with cloud-native design patterns and distributed systems.\n\nKnowledge of event-driven architecture, Kafka, or message-oriented middleware.\n\nExperience with OAuth2, JWT authentication, and API security.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, Harness, or modern deployment tooling.\n\nExperience supporting high-volume transactional systems.\n\nExperience in financial services, banking, lending, education finance, or government-regulated environments.\n\nExposure to modernization initiatives involving legacy platform integration or migration efforts.\n\nExperience integrating custom-developed applications with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software
