The Account Supervisor oversees the development and execution of strategic PR programs across a group of accounts, sets day-to-day objectives for their teams, and serves as a reliable main point of contact for clients across asset management, wealth management, private markets and the broader financial sector. This is also a people management role. You will line manage Account Executives and Coordinators, supporting their onboarding and training and providing ongoing feedback and coaching. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of five years of PR and communications experience, required experience with financial services clients, and the media relationships to secure coverage in top-tier business and financial outlets.\nWhat you’d do\nClient strategy and media relations\nHandle all aspects of proactive and reactive media relations for a portfolio of financial services clients, including asset managers, wealth managers and private markets firms.\nServe as a highly responsive day-to-day client contact; facilitate client calls and meetings. \nArticulate, implement and manage day-to-day execution of account strategy. \nDevelop clear, thoughtful and strategic communications, including strategy plans, media plans, client emails and briefing documents, with minimal input from the account lead. \nBuild and maintain relationships with financial, business and trade journalists, editors, producers and podcast hosts. \nSecure coverage in top-tier outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, Barron’s and the Financial Times, as well as leading industry publications. \nMonitor markets, economic data, regulatory developments and industry news to identify timely opportunities for client commentary, and move quickly to secure placements. \nDemonstrate a proficient understanding of each client’s business and competitive landscape; bring strategic recommendations and creative ideas, and proactively identify and address client needs. \nThought leadership and executive visibility\nSupport thought leadership programs for CEOs, CIOs, portfolio managers, strategists and other senior executives, including bylined articles and market commentary. \nPrepare executives for interviews and develop executive content for LinkedIn and other owned channels. \nCompliance and sensitive matters\nGuide client materials through compliance review, applying a working understanding of the SEC and FINRA communications requirements that shape financial services messaging. \nSupport reactive and sensitive matters, including market volatility, fund performance, regulatory inquiries and leadership transitions, in partnership with senior team members. \nMeasurement and reporting\nTrack, measure and report on program results; use media monitoring, measurement and AI-enabled research tools to refine targeting and demonstrate value to clients. \nVerify all outputs before they reach a client or reporter. \nTeam leadership and growth\nManage day-to-day performance of account teams; ensure quality work, deadline adherence, effective processes, and that the team consistently meets or exceeds agreed-upon expectations, deliverables and metrics. \nServe as a line manager for Account Executives and Coordinators; provide onboarding support, training and ongoing feedback, and participate in reviews. \nAct as a mentor for junior colleagues by modeling desired behavior; demonstrate a strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to collegiality and a growth mindset. \nParticipate in the new business process by articulating strategies and tactics, contributing to proposals, and attending pitch meetings. \nCommit to continuous learning and improvement of professional and leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals. \nLead by example; demonstrate behaviors consistent with Infinite’s values (integrity, agility, compassion, and courage). \nWhy we want you\nYou have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. \nYou have a minimum of five years’ PR and communications experience.
