You'll work alongside and mentor a Research Analyst while collaborating with teams across the agency. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills, PR agency experience, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage daily research operations, prioritize requests, establish workflows, and oversee research quality, deadlines, and deliverables.\nLead client reporting and develop measurement frameworks, KPIs, and analytics capabilities that demonstrate the business impact of communications programs and support business growth.\nConduct competitive intelligence and prospect research to support new business proposals, RFPs, client pitches, and strategic recommendations.\nLead original research and thought leadership initiatives, including surveys, secondary research, and large dataset analysis, translating findings into actionable client insights.\nOversee media monitoring, social listening, and real-time crisis tracking, including reporting and escalation of important developments.\nManage research platforms and databases, leveraging Python, generative AI, and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.\nManage and mentor the Research Analyst, supporting professional development, team collaboration, and consistent performance standards.\nWhat You Bring\n5-7 years of experience in research, analytics, or communications measurement, with PR agency experience required and B2B agency experience strongly preferred.\nExperience supporting legal, financial, or professional services clients, with a proven ability to measure the business impact of communications programs.\nWorking knowledge of Python, data analysis libraries, large datasets, and generative AI tools, including responsible use and verification of research outputs.\nExperience with media monitoring, social listening, and research platforms such as Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Pulsar, Brandwatch, Factiva, or LexisNexis.\nStrong research capabilities, including survey design, competitive intelligence, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Smartsheet or Microsoft Lists.\nExperience mentoring or managing junior researchers or analysts \nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience\nWhat We Offer\nHybrid schedule: Two days in the office and three optional work-from-home days per week.\nCompetitive compensation and comprehensive company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.\n401(k) with employer match, wellness and lifestyle benefits, and an Employee Assistance Program.\n$175 home-office stipend, $50 monthly smartphone stipend, and periodic device upgrade assistance.\n15 vacation days, 10 company holidays, nine paid sick days, one personal day, and an on-call period between Christmas and New Year's.\nPaid volunteer time and matching charitable contributions up to $1,000 annually.\nComprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, mentorship, and twice-annual professional development planning.\nCompensation\nAnnual base salary: $80,000-$120,000\nIndividual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
