Manual QA analysts collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to help deliver high-quality software products.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Planning & Design: Review user stories, business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.\n Test Execution: Execute functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nAPI Testing: Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, and JSON payloads.\nDatabase Testing: Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate data integrity, transactions, and backend processing.\nDefect Management: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.\nTest Automation: Assist with basic test automation activities and execution of automated test scripts. Exposure to tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks is a plus.\nCollaboration: Work with developers, product owners, and business analysts in Agile/Scrum environments.\nDocumentation & Reporting: Maintain test documentation, record test results, communicate defects, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance.\nManual Testing: Strong understanding and practical experience with functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.\nTesting Fundamentals: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, test case design, and test execution.\nAPI Testing: Experience with basic to intermediate API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.\nDatabase Testing: Working knowledge of SQL and experience validating application data and database transactions.\nDefect & Test Management: Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test/defect management platforms.\nSoft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.\nExposure to API automation or UI automation.\nBasic exposure to automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is preferred.\nExperience testing payment, banking, lending, cards, digital banking, or financial transaction platforms.\nUnderstanding of basic financial transaction flows, reconciliation, and transaction failure/error
