In this role, you will turn imaging operational data into reliable, actionable reporting that helps clinical leaders, radiology operations, and IT teams monitor performance, improve workflows, and make informed decisions. You will design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting tools, partner with stakeholders to define requirements, and ensure data accuracy across a complex imaging ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong technical reporting skills with curiosity about healthcare operations and a commitment to data quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos, Merge UDR, SSRS, and Tableau\nGather and translate business and clinical requirements from radiology, imaging operations, and IT stakeholders into reporting solutions\nWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from PACS, RIS, and related imaging systems\nDevelop operational and performance metrics such as exam volumes, turnaround times, system utilization, storage growth, and interface and workflow throughput\nValidate data accuracy and integrity, and troubleshoot discrepancies between source systems and reports\nSchedule, monitor, and support report distribution, refreshes, and subscriptions, resolving failures promptly\nSupport ad hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities\nMaintain documentation for report logic, data definitions, data sources, and processes\nPartner with PACS administrators, application analysts, DBAs, and integration teams to understand data models and system changes that affect reporting\nFollow change management, security, and data governance standards, including appropriate handling of PHI in compliance with HIPAA\nProvide training and support to end users on report usage and self-service tools\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience\n3+ years of experience in a reporting, business intelligence, or data analyst role\nHands-on experience with at least two of the following: IBM Cognos, Merge UDR, SSRS, and Tableau, with a willingness to learn the others\nStrong SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, and performance tuning, ideally in SQL Server or similar relational databases\nSolid understanding of relational data models, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes\nAbility to translate business questions into clear, accurate, and visually effective reports\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced operational environment\nFamiliarity with protecting sensitive data and working in a regulated environment\nGood to Have Skills and Certifications\nExperience in a healthcare, hospital, or radiology environment\nWorking knowledge of PACS, RIS, VNA, or other medical imaging systems and workflows\nFamiliarity with healthcare standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR\nExperience with Merge (Merative) UDR data structures and report development\nExperience with Python or R for data analysis and automation\nKnowledge of scripting or automation for report scheduling and data validation\nExperience with Agile or ITIL-based work practices\nRelevant certifications, such as:Tableau
