The Sr. Solutions Architect role at Nissan is a senior-level IT position focused on designing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient application and solutions, driving digital transformation, and leading cloud migrations while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.\nA Day in the Life:\nOwns architecture for more than one application.\nProvides design solutions to new projects. \nCollaborates with IS delivery leads and product owners to provide technical solutions.\nHave designs reviewed by ERB. \nProvide solutions strictly adhering to enterprise security, compliance and legal standards.\nProvide solutions strictly adhering to enterprise design patterns and industry best practices.\nContinuously provides solutions to improve application security, performance, resiliency, scalability, automation, maintainability and cost savings.\nDrives digital transformation of legacy applications.\nLeads cloud migrations of applications on data center.\nWorks with DevOps team for provisioning of infrastructure and CICD pipelines.\nProvides guidance and support for test automation, pen tests, performance and chaos tests. \nTroubleshoot and provide solutions to production issues.\nDrives test automation, pen tests, performance and chaos tests. \nProvides guidance and direction to developers on secure coding standards and vulnerability remediation\nPromotes operational excellence through stable, supportable solutions\nSupports operational readiness by using standard coding practices, supported platforms and components, and inclusive of monitoring tools/ solutions in designs\nWho We’re Looking for:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree. Fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related.\n5 - 7+ years of experience in IT.\n3+ years of experience in Architecture.\n3+ years of experience of cloud, preferably AWS.\n3+ years of hands-on (or equivalent experience) web or mobile application design and development (frontend), preferably in Angular, React, Swift or Kotlin.\n3+ years of experience of hands-on API/microservices design and development (backend), preferably in Node.js, Python or Java.\nHands-on experience with various developer and dev ops tools.\nSolid knowledge of RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases (Key-Value, Document, Graph, Cache etc.).\nSolid understanding of various authentication and authorization frameworks.\nSolid knowledge of API Managers or Gateways.\nSolid knowledge of messaging and streaming services like Kafka, Active MQ, Rabbit MQ, SQS, SNS.\nSolid knowledge of DevOps and CICD concepts.\nExperience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Professional Cloud Architect \nHighly skilled in designing highly resilient, highly scalable, cost efficient, highly secure and easily maintainable application solutions.\nExpertise in troubleshooting various technical issues.
