The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architectures, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data flow and collection. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based data solutions and strong expertise in leveraging Databricks to drive data initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement data architectures and solutions on Databricks in both AWS and Azure.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\nDevelop and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration across systems.\n\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and security in all data-related activities.\n\nOptimize data storage and retrieval strategies to improve performance and cost-efficiency.\n\nLead the implementation of data governance policies and procedures.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineering teams.\n\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data architecture, Databricks, cloud data warehouses, AWS and Azure.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\n U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required: Due to the secure nature of the project, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. \nProven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on Databricks.\n\nProficiency in Databricks, including the ability to build and optimize Spark applications.\n\nExtensive experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Glue, and others.\n\nStrong knowledge of Unity Catalog and its application in managing and securing data assets.\n\nStrong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.\n\nProficiency in SQL and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).\n\nFamiliarity with data governance and data security practices.\n\nActive Databricks Professional certification\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.\n\nExperience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).\n\nKnowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.\n\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).\n\nPrior experience in a leadership or mentorship role. \nInfinitive is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
