Working under the guidance of the Senior Software Developer, the successful candidate will contribute to developing new features, improving existing applications, troubleshooting software issues, and providing timely technical support to clients.\nKey ResponsibilitiesNew Product Development\nParticipate in requirements gathering and software development.\nDevelop new features and modules based on approved requirements.\nSupport system integrations, including HL7 and ASTM protocols.\nWrite, test, debug, and document maintainable code.\nEnhancement of Existing Systems\nImprove and maintain existing software applications.\nImplement approved enhancements and resolve software defects.\nTest changes and address issues identified during QA and UAT.\nTechnical Support\nInvestigate and resolve assigned client support tickets.\nProvide timely support in line with established SLAs.\nDocument issues and resolutions and escalate complex incidents when necessary.\nCommunicate professionally with clients regarding technical issues.\nTeamwork and Professional Development\nPlan and document assigned tasks and project progress.\nParticipate in team meetings and Agile development activities.\nFollow coding, documentation, and version control standards.\nContinuously develop technical skills and support after-hours activities when required.\nRequirements\nQualifications and RequirementsEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nExperience\n0–2 years of relevant software development experience.\nExposure to healthcare IT systems is an added advantage.\nTechnical Skills\nWorking knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#.\nUnderstanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON.\nBasic knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.\nFamiliarity with Git for version control, including branching and pull requests.\nBasic debugging, testing, and code-reading skills.\nFamiliarity with the Linux command line and basic server operations.\nAdditional Advantageous Skills\nExposure to ERP platforms.\nFamiliarity with healthcare integration standards and protocols, including HL7, FHIR, or ASTM.\nExposure to medical device integration or serial communication.\nFamiliarity with Docker and containerization.\nCompetencies\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\nClear written and verbal communication, including professional client communication when clarifying technical issues.\nAbility to organize and track multiple assigned tasks while maintaining accurate records.\nAttention to detail and commitment to producing reliable, maintainable software.\nAbility to work collaboratively, accept feedback, and seek guidance when needed.\nWillingness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and develop technical expertise.\nHow to apply\nAll interested candidates who fulfilled the above mentioned minimum requirements should submit their letter of application, CV and non-returnable supporting documents on or before November 7, 2026 to the following address: email: \nN.B.: Please mention the position/ Vacancy title in the cover or application letter.
