This includes performing various tasks related to entering sales and purchase orders, invoicing customers, general accounting, and month-end closing processes, and ad hoc projects. This position assists in ensuring accounting transactions are executed in accordance with established standards of internal controls and processes.\nWhat a day in the life looks like:\nProcess contracts for software, subscription, hardware, and support renewals, assisting in procurement of third-party products and services, and recording of revenue and direct cost of sales in accordance with the company’s revenue recognition policies. \nReview Contracts to calculate total amount due from customers considering any applicable discounts, special rates, and credits, and to identify and properly handle any non-standard contract terms in accordance with revenue recognition policies. \nEnter sales orders for new orders, add-on sales and projects into the company’s ERP system based on contract terms to ensure proper billing and revenue recognition. \nResponsible for the procurement process related to third party vendors and service providers, including issuance of purchase orders and tracking delivery of products to customers. \nAssist customers both internally and externally. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. \nProcess all credit requests working closely with Accounts Receivable in the issuance of any credits. \nProactively identify billing issues and work with appropriate internal staff and external customers & partners to resolve issues. Help resolve any discrepancies or billing errors and update the company’s billing records accordingly. \nAlert management with revenue impacting issues and/or anticipated interruptions to Körber’s expected goals. \nParticipate in the month, quarter, and year-end close process and audit requests. \nWork to meet month-end deadlines collectively with the Billing Team, some overtime required. \nReview and provide timely submission of Vendor Invoices to our Accounts Payable Department. \nWhat you bring to the team:\nAnalytical Skills \nAttention to Detail \nClear Verbal and Written Communication \nForethought and Ability to Identify & Highlight Processing Irregularities \nTime Management Skills\nAbility to Follow Outlined Processes and Direction \nAssociate’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience \nAccounting, Finance, or Related Field Required \nPrevious billing experience. \nSalary range $56,700 - 60,000 USD.\nThis compensation range is indicative of the role.
