You will work on projects, large and small, to propel our team and services by innovating and standardizing to provide quality as well as consistency and sustainability. Qualified candidates will have exposure to a variety of databases on a variety of platforms that support a wide array of products and customers.\nWhat a day in life looks like:\nWork with Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL on VMs, in AWS RDS/Aurora as well as OCI managed databases\nWork with multiple cloud vendors: AWS, OCI, Azure\nWork with AI tools to help improve your understanding, allow experimentation and develop solutions to all sorts of problems and situations\nWork with some of the industry leading technologies that monitor, update and alert on our large and diverse infrastructure\nDevelop and Manage Database processes\nMaintain solid database backups\nProvide database support for company projects\nSupport development teams as well as peer groups\nProvide performance tuning investigation, expertise and advice\nCreate and maintain SOP and other documentation\nDetermine direction for future database architectures\nWork with Very Large databases with more than 15+ TB\nReview and Manage user sessions, storage, processes, schemas, etc.\nCreate and use dashboards for alerts, storage trends, query execution times, etc.\nProvide data loading and unloading as necessary\nPatch database systems manually, with scripts and with enterprise tooling\nWhat you bring to the team:\nBachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience\n(3-5 ) years of experience as a DBA on different versions of Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle databases\nFlexibility to accommodate after-hours and weekend client and team member needs.\nParticipation in a 24x7 on-call rotation\nExcellent analytical skills\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written\nExcellent customer service skills\nExcellent time management\nAble to work well within a team \nNice to Have:\nAWS RDS/Aurora, EC2 and API experience\nOCI VM, buckets and API experience\nOracle Dataguard\nOracle Goldengate\nMSSQL HA\nTanium\nDynatrace\nOEM administration\nWhy join us?\nAt Infios, we'renot just looking for employees; we'relooking for partners in innovation, growth, and purpose.
