This role combines deep functional expertise with hands-on test automation leadership, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate will own test strategy, automation coverage, release validation, and quality standards across UI, API, and integration layers while partnering closely with Product, Development, and Architecture teams.\nWhat a day in the life looks like:\nDevelop deep functional expertise in OMS workflows, integrations, and business processes.\nTranslate business requirements and user stories into robust test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.\nDefine and drive the overall test automation strategy, standards, and roadmap.\nDesign, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and API test automation solutions.\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to ensure effective test planning and coverage.\nReview and enhance automation suites to improve reliability, scalability, and CI/CD effectiveness.\nImplement risk-based testing approaches for releases, hotfixes, and production support.\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted testing tools to improve automation productivity and quality.\nAnalyze defects, identify test coverage gaps, and continuously improve product quality metrics.\nWhat you bring to the team:\n8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation.\nStrong functional analysis skills with experience testing complex enterprise applications.\nHands-on experience with Java, JUnit, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and integration testing.\nStrong expertise in Playwright and UI automation for modern Single Page Applications (SPA).\nExperience building and maintaining automation frameworks and CI/CD-integrated test suites.\nKnowledge of test strategy, test data management, regression testing, and release validation.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools such as Claude and Kiro.\nExcellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nAI-Assisted QA and Automation Productivity\nDefine best practices for using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Kiro to design test scenarios, generate automated tests, and improve existing test suites.\nEstablish reusable prompt patterns, workflows, and review guidelines to ensure that AI-generated tests are functionally correct, meaningful, maintainable, and consistent with engineering standards.\nDrive workflows that translate user stories and acceptance criteria into test scenarios, generate automated test cases, and integrate them into the existing execution pipeline.\nEnsure AI-generated tests are reviewed and validated against requirements rather than accepted solely on the basis of successful execution.\nMeasure the impact of AI-assisted testing on test authoring time, automation throughput, coverage, and defect detection.\nShare effective practices and enable developers to use AI tools consistently across the engineering organisation.\nWhy join us?\nAt Infios, we're not just looking for employees; we're looking for partners in innovation, growth, and purpose.
