Cloud Network Engineer

Körber currently has a full-time position open for a Cloud Network Engineer to work remote. This individual will have a proven track record in supporting Cloud Network Engineering securely for our customers and will have a superior understanding of cloud operations.

As a Cloud Network Engineer at Körber Supply Chain Software, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performance network environment that supports our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based network solutions using platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Manage and maintain network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability of services.
• Responsible for Network components Lifecycle Management incl. upgrades, patching, migrations
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud-based services with on-premises systems.
• Develop and implement security solutions together with our security team and contribute to hardening and securing our cloud systems.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration tasks to improve efficiency.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for network-related emergencies.

Job Qualifications

• Technical Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions (3 years +)
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, VNCs, VNets, and Direct Connect/Fast Connect/ExpressRoute.
• Experience with network security tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Network certifications in Oracle OCI, AWS, or Azure
