Responsibilities:

• Development and testing of key platform features for a startup focusing on the marketing technology space.
• Work with a team of engineers and deliver features and functions as outlined by your engineering manager.
• Develop using test-driven development for all your work.
• Focus on good design and justify your designs.
• Be a steward for security and privacy.
• Improve engineering processes and standards within the team.

Requirements:

• You have 3+ years of work experience as part of a core engineering team at a product company.
• Experience with processing, storing, and analyzing very large amounts of data.
• Deep understanding and experience working with Java (8 or above) or C#.
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Supporting Skills:

• Container-based development with tools such as Docker.
• Experience working with data streaming applications built with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, etc.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
