The successful candidate will contribute to strategic cloud initiatives while partnering with the IT Infrastructure Manager on architecture, security, and long-term infrastructure planning.\nAbout The Role\nThis role provides the opportunity to work on a modern hybrid cloud environment supporting scientific research, engineering, and corporate business operations. As a member of a collaborative IT team, you'll play a key role in evolving our cloud platform and helping shape the future of our infrastructure.\nCurrent and planned initiatives include:\nMigrating on-premises Windows Server infrastructure into Microsoft Azure\nExpanding hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID services\nBuilding scalable Azure infrastructure supporting engineering workloads\nSupporting Azure SQL environments and future cloud data initiatives\nImplementing Azure Batch compute environments for engineering simulations\nImproving cloud networking, automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery\nSupporting future cloud initiatives across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform\nKey Responsibilities\nDeploy and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.\nAdminister hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 identity services.\nAssist with migrating existing on-premises infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.\nDeploy and maintain Azure networking components including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Bastion, and Load Balancers.\nSupport Azure SQL Server deployments and future cloud data platform initiatives.\nMonitor system health, availability, and performance while proactively identifying and resolving issues.\nParticipate in future multi-cloud initiatives involving AWS and Google Cloud Platform as business needs evolve.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and infrastructure diagrams.\nProvide technical guidance and support for complex infrastructure issues while partnering with the IT Service Desk to ensure operational excellence.\nRequirements\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or 1 year of related experience.\nFour (4) or more years of experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure in an enterprise environment.\n Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 identity services.\nHands-on experience deploying Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and related Azure Services.\nWorking knowledge of Azure networking concepts including routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.\nExperience migrating servers or applications into Microsoft Azure.\nPreferred skills:\nExperience with PowerShell scripting and automation.\nExperience supporting Azure SQL Server environments.\nExperience with Azure Batch or other high-performance compute environments.\nExperience with Azure Data Lake Storage or related Azure data services.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform.\nExperience supporting AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, or other enterprise security platforms.\nNotice to Recruitment Agencies:\nInfleqtion does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies.
