With opportunities to work on high-impact projects, access to the latest technologies, and a culture that thrives on creativity and collaboration, INflow Federal is where your expertise can truly make a difference.\nJob Responsibilities\nHandles outage and maintenance tickets servicing more than 20000 users through onsite and remote troubleshooting assistance for layer 1 - 3 issues, hardware installations of new and upgraded routers, switches, COMSEC/TACLANES, McAfee intrusion prevention systems, Aruba wireless controllers, Riverbed Steelhead WANX’s, device configurations and reconfigurations, and LAN/WAN outage recovery.\nTroubleshooting outages and resolve network related issues. \nLocal element for COMSEC - given briefings on troubleshooting TACLANES, Trained to re-key the TACLANES.\nInstall and upgrade network devices and components. This includes switches, routers, and network monitoring devices.\nExpected to understand, implement, and follow processes in accordance with current policies and procedures. Performed escalation and additional tasks as directed.\nInvestigate, resolve, document, and report the cause and corrective actions in the Incident Management System for all incidents assigned by the Service Desk.\nSkills\nKnowledgeable engineer in the field of Ethernet and IP data engineering with 4 plus years’ experience as a Network Technician.\nPosition requires a high level of project coordination skills to manage the execution of maintenance activities and network outages.\nFundamental understanding of the OSI Model is required.\nExperience must include operational support, and configuration of network devices such as servers, routers, switches, associated software tools, and cabling in a large LAN/MAN/BAN/WAN environment.\nKnowledge of network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP is a Plus.\nKnowledge and experience working with wireless technologies, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and WAN\nAccelerators and associated technologies is highly desirable.\nYou will be part of a Team of Network Technicians and Engineers.\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and continual improvement, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, good written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, innovative thinking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Good customer service and communication is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and network reliability.
