You will start your journey onboarding with an infrastructure mission team dedicated to unifying DevOps practices across the Data Business Area, solving common infrastructure challenges across multiple data platform teams and supporting teams that run on big data and database platforms, including those without dedicated DevOps coverage. \nWhat you'll do\nOnboard with the infrastructure mission team to operate, maintain, and support infrastructure across multiple data platform teams, helping reduce silos and share solutions to common problems\nTransition long-term into the Postgres team, taking ownership of designing, deploying, and optimizing PostgreSQL database structures for high performance and reliability\nAutomate infrastructure and operational processes using Ansible, focusing on readable, maintainable automation\nWork daily with Linux-based systems in containerized environments using Docker\nDesign, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for large-scale systems\nConfigure and manage proxy and reverse proxy setups to support reliable service delivery\nProactively monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with team members to enhance overall database functionality\nWhat makes you a strong fit\n3+ years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role\nKnowledge and understanding of relational database design and deployment, with experience in PostgreSQL deployment and administration\nSolid experience working with Linux systems and containerized environments (Linux, Docker)\nHands-on experience with automation tools, especially Ansible\nExperience configuring and managing proxy or reverse proxy setups\nPractical experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana\nProblem-solving mindset with a focus on stability, scalability, and reliability\nComfortable collaborating within a team, sharing knowledge, and giving and receiving constructive feedback\nCuriosity about AI tools and practices, as Infobip is an AI-first company and values engineers who explore how AI can support their work\nFluent in English, both spoken and written\nNice-to-have qualifications\nExperience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, or highly available PostgreSQL solutions\nFamiliarity with Rundeck\nExperience with big data systems, high-traffic, or large-scale systems\n\nWhen you become a part of Infobip you can expect:\nAwesome clients - We serve and partner with the majority of the leading mobile operators, OTTs, brands, banks, social networks, aggregators and many more.
