As part of this team, you'll be the last line of technical support, receiving escalations from support and monitoring teams and working through them to resolution. This is a junior-level opportunity designed to help you build hands-on experience with large-scale carrier networks, with senior team members available to support you as you grow into more complex engineering work.\nWhat you'll do\nImplement custom network solutions for carrier and enterprise customers.\nAct as an escalation contact for the Network Operations group, troubleshooting issues for customers and the network they connect to.\nAssist with the design, engineering, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's nationwide IP/MPLS backbone.\nAssist with the design, engineering, planning, implementation, and maintenance of local fiber, access networks, and DCS systems across major markets.\nSupport the design, engineering, planning, and implementation of new sites and market launches.\nDevelop and document processes and solutions for internal distribution and cross-team training.\nAssist with the automation of network-related processes.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation (outside of standard business hours) once comfortable within the environment.\nWhat makes you a strong fit\nAt least 1 year of experience in a networking role, or a technical support/call center background with a desire to move into network engineering.\nHands-on experience with IOS, IOS XR, or Junos, including switch and router configuration and management from the command line.\nWorking knowledge of IP, MPLS, BGP, and Ethernet fundamentals.\nComfortable working and communicating with a remote, cross-regional team.\nOwnership mindset, patience, and follow-through, comfortable taking an assigned issue all the way to resolution.\nStrong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nNice-to-have qualifications\nExperience supporting carrier or enterprise VoIP and data services.\nFamiliarity with network security fundamentals, IPv6, or recent MEF/IEEE Ethernet standards.\nExposure to Python or shell scripting.\nExperience with monitoring/surveillance systems (e.g., NMIS, CheckMK, Nagios), configuration management tools (e.g., Saltstack), or automation frameworks (e.g., Nornir, Ansible, StackStorm).\nFamiliarity with workflow tools (e.g., Salesforce, PagerDuty, Wrike, Trello, Slack, MS Teams) or data visualization tools (e.g., RRD/Cacti, Graphite/Grafana).\nCisco or Juniper certifications, or a bachelor's degree in a related field (in progress is fine).\n\nWhy you'll love it here\nFinancial rewards & recognition - A fair compensation aligned with your experience, industry, and market standards, performance-driven bonuses, regular reviews to support your growth and recognize your contributions, and a culture that values your impact.\nFlexible work arrangements - We combine in-person collaboration with remote work and flexible working hours, because great ideas happen everywhere - and not always between 9 and 5.\nESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) - As an Infobip employee, you’ll have the opportunity to share in our company’s success through stock options.\nWork-life balance and Well-being - We offer time off when you need it, special leave days for life’s big moments, and a flexible hybrid work model tailored to local regulations.\nCareer mobility - Your career is a journey.
