The PDE ensures our new Kentik customers get the fastest possible time-to-value from their product purchase investment. The PDE’s core mission is to facilitate a seamless technical onboarding experience and guide customers to their First Desired Outcome-the initial, tangible moment of success with Kentik product(s).\nThis highly technical role also requires extensive collaboration with multiple teams within Infoblox such as the Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering organizations.\nBe a contributor - What you'll do\nPerform the technical onboarding and deployment experience for new customers\nCollaborate with customers to execute the technical onboarding implementation plan, ensuring a clear path to their First Desired Outcome\nLead the deployment and configuration of the Kentik platform, including Private Agent installation, test creation, and initial setup for new Kentik customers\nWork closely with Sales Engineers and Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales delivery\nIdentify and escalate technical challenges or product gaps that may impact a customer's successful onboarding\nValidate AI-generated outputs against network data, logs, configurations, and security requirements before applying changes or sharing recommendations\nBe Prepared - What you'll bring\nFive or more years’ experience in a customer-facing technical role focused on software iimplementation or onboarding\nA customer-centric mindset, and the willingness to take initiative to do the right thing for the customer\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to articulate highly complex technical topics and ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively\nStrong demonstrable experience with TCP/IP and Internet routing protocols (IPv4/v6,BGP, MPLS, ISIS, OSPF, HTTP, DNS, etc.)\nStrong demonstrable experience with network monitoring suites (Netflow, J-Flow, sFlowIPFIX, SNMP, etc.)\nDemonstrable experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration\nDemonstrable experience with popular network vendor CLI’s (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)\nWorking experience programming/scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby, PHP, Perl, etc.)\nExperience with DNS, DHCP, and IP address management is a plus\nWorking experience with APIs, maintaining RESTful code\nWorking experience in network and routing security (DDoS mitigation/scrubbing,Firewalls, Security Groups, NACLs, microsegmentation, RPKI)\nWorking experience in creating and analyzing traffic packet captures (tcpdump, Wireshark, etc.)\nExperience with cloud hyperscalers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, or OCI\nExperience with CDN architectures (Anycast, OTT, GSLB, etc.)\nUnderstanding of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, customer confidentiality, human validation, and secure use of AI tools\nExperience with synthetic/network performance testing\nExperience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)\nA minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS), or equivalent experience\nAbility to travel up to 20% of the time\nBe Successful your Path\nFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), complete the initial Kentik platform training, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and Infoblox customers.
