In this role, you will design clear, intuitive experiences for Infoblox’s cloud-first networking and security products. Collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will contribute to the user-centered design lifecycle-from understanding customer needs through interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and implementation support.\nYou will work on complex enterprise workflows and help create experiences that enable customers to manage networking, security, and cloud environments more effectively. You will also use AI-enabled design and productivity tools responsibly to accelerate exploration, synthesize research, improve documentation, and support evidence-based design decisions while maintaining sound judgment, customer empathy, privacy, and design quality.\nBe a Contributor - What You’ll Do\nEstablish workflows and user experiences based on existing patterns, design standards, and an understanding of end-user needs\n\nCreate low- and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, user flows, and design specifications for delivery to Engineering\n\nDemonstrate competency in interaction design, iterative design, workflow analysis, and role-based experiences for complex enterprise systems\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and cybersecurity subject-matter experts to translate customer and business needs into usable solutions\n\nConduct or support user research, interviews, heuristic evaluations, and moderated or unmoderated usability testing\n\nCreate research and testing artifacts, document findings, and translate insights into actionable design improvements\n\nModify existing patterns or contribute new patterns to the Infoblox design system based on user research, product requirements, accessibility considerations, and usability findings\n\nPresent design concepts, design rationale, and recommendations to UX colleagues, product teams, and stakeholders; incorporate feedback through iterative design\n\nPartner with Engineering throughout implementation to clarify design intent, review delivered experiences, and help ensure alignment with approved designs and standards\n\nUse Figma, FigJam, and approved AI-enabled tools to accelerate ideation, organize design documentation, summarize research inputs, generate draft content, and explore alternatives; validate all outputs for accuracy, accessibility, security, privacy, and consistency with user needs\n\nBe Prepared - What You Bring\n2-4 years of experience in UX/UI or product design for enterprise B2B products, SaaS platforms, or carrier-grade solutions\n\nStrong foundation in interaction design, including user journeys, workflows, task flows, information architecture, and interaction models for complex systems\n\nExperience with user-centered design activities such as user research, prototyping, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and iterative design\n\nProficiency in Figma and FigJam, including interactive prototyping; experience contributing to or using a design system\n\nUnderstanding of UX principles, usability heuristics, accessibility, responsive design, and role-based experiences\n\nAnalytical and logical thinking, with the ability to translate complex requirements and customer insights into clear, scalable experiences\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and other stakeholders in a distributed, cross-functional environment\n\nAbility to clearly communicate and document design decisions through user flows, specifications, presentations, and written updates\n\nPractical experience using AI-enabled design or productivity tools to support research synthesis, content exploration, workflow analysis, or design operations, with the judgment to validate outputs and protect confidential information\n\nBachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field preferred\n\nBe Successful - Your Path\nFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work.
