Major responsibilities under this role would be to engage with clients to architect solutions, advance capabilities, drive research & experimentation and nurture talent in cloud & data engineering.\n\nKey Result Areas and Activities : \n\n1. Architect solutions & coordinate their implementation : \n\n- Architect and design modern, high-performance D&A solutions incorporating people, process, and technology levers in cloud and big data technologies.\n\n- Coordinate with delivery for adoption with focus on greater reuse, AI infusion for accelerated and risk-mitigated implementation.\n\n2. Guide research & experiments to address unmet needs : \n\n- Proactively drive research and experimentation through the CoEs to ensure that Infocepts stays ahead of the curve in emerging areas of cloud data engineering and architecture.\n\n- Identify specific opportunities for innovation to create differentiation and address unmet needs.\n\n3. Build & reuse knowledge & expertise : \n\n- Build foundation components in the form of reusable assets in Cloud and Big Data technologies which can be leveraged across projects and client accounts.\n\n- Advance Infocepts solutions through effective use of one or more foundation components.\n\n- Influence D&A space by creating thought leadership content and participating in external events and forums.\n\n- Anchor and leverage Community of Practitioners (CoPs) for knowledge sharing and mobilizing support for innovation at scale.\n\n4. Engage with clients, delivery & industry : \n\n- Proactively track D&A trends and influence client's data strategy and choices through thought leadership.\n\n- Identify white spaces and mine opportunities for growth.\n\n5. Lead & support opportunities : \n\n- Support pre-sales activities including conducting discovery workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, and supporting sales and marketing enablement for Cloud and Big Data related technologies.\n\n6. Nurture & grow talent : \n\n- Develop differentiated D&A talent pool in through recruitment and learning & development in cloud data engineering competencies.\n\n- Mentor associates to help them advance their careers in D&A using the Infocept's Career Architecture Framework.\n\nEssential Skills : \n\n- Experience in design and architecture of modern data platforms, data products, data clean rooms.\n\n- Deep expertise in data modelling, data pipeline, data sharing, semantic enrichment using Snowflake capabilities including Snowflake Intelligence, DBT, Horizon, Snowpark.\n\n- Proficient in data engineering using DBT as well as cloud native data pipelines in Snowpipe, Openflow.\n\n- Proficiency in AI infused data engineering with effective use of GenAI, LLMs, MCPs, Agents using, Cortex and Cortex Code.\n\n- Experience of designing and implementing domain driven architecture, data mesh and data fabric architectural patterns.\n\n- Diverse D&A experiences including green field Fabric implementation, migrations from legacy to Snowflake, data products, semantic & context layer design in Snowflake.\n\n- Proficiency in supporting presales and solutioning with experience in conducting discovery workshops, whiteboarding sessions, building architectural blueprints and estimations for large programs.\n\n- Demonstrable thought leadership through blogs, white papers and presentations in D&A events.\n\nDesirable Skills : \n\n- Well versed with data management practices such as data quality management, data cataloging and data governance in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.\n\n- Well versed in DataOps automation using cloud native services on Snowflake on Azure/AWS.\n\n- Experience of building Snowflake native apps as a front end for data products and AI use cases.\n\n- Well versed with DevSecOps considerations for cloud first data analytics solutions in Snowflake on Azure/AWS.\n\n- Sound understanding of cloud infrastructure provision, data observability and Cloud FinOps covering usage of Snowflake.\n\n- Demonstrable advisory and consulting experiences for strategic D&A initiatives.\n\n- Sound business appreciation to understand business and functional requirements for solution architecture considerations.\n\n- Experience in evaluating and comparing multiple cloud data technology choices and making right-fit recommendations in the client context.\n\n- Working knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF, DAMA.\n\nQualifications : \n\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus).\n\n- Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods.\n\n- 10 -
