This role requires hands-on experience in building scalable services, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliability, observability, and security in production environments.\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\nBackend Engineering and Platform Development:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and asynchronous microservices architectures.\nBuild and optimize data-intensive applications using PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or equivalent technologies at production scale.\nDevelop high-performance APIs and distributed systems to support AI-driven applications.\nCloud Infrastructure and DevOps:\nArchitect and manage cloud-native applications on AWS or GCP.\nDeploy and operate services using ECS, EKS, Lambda, Cloud Run, GCP (GKE), and other cloud-native technologies.\nImplement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent frameworks like Pulumi or CloudFormation.\nBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable and automated deployments.\nExperience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven, scalable, and distributed systems.\nManage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.\nMonitoring and Observability:\nInstrument backend services end-to-end with metrics, distributed tracing, and structured logging using OpenTelemetry\nHands-on with some observability stacks: Prometheus + Grafana, Datadog/New Relic, and centralized logging (ELK/Loki)\nBuild actionable dashboards and alerting to detect latency, errors, and resource bottlenecks before customer impact\nRequirements:\n4+ years of experience in backend development.\nB. E. /B. Tech. /B. S.
