This role works closely with experienced engineers to build technical expertise while supporting software quality through unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution. The Associate Software Engineer participates in the development lifecycle, assists with troubleshooting activities, and supports implementation, testing, and product support efforts across development and customer environments to help ensure reliable and efficient product operation.\nA Typical Day in the Life Includes:\nDevelop and maintain Android application features and product modules under the guidance of senior team members. \nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to learn engineering best practices and contribute to team objectives. \nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, bugs, and technical issues with support from experienced engineers. \nAssist in implementing enhancements, bug fixes, and customer-requested functionality. \nWrite and maintain unit tests to help ensure software quality and reliability. \nParticipate in integration testing, release testing, and beta support activities. \nCollaborate with QA, Product Support, Product Management, and other development teams to understand requirements and resolve issues. \nFollow established coding standards, development processes, and quality practices. \nSupport application deployment, build management, and CI/CD activities. \nDevelop knowledge of software architecture, mobile development frameworks, and enterprise application development. \nContinuously expand technical skills and stay current with Android development technologies and industry best practices. \n\nBasic Qualifications:\n0-2 years of experience in software development, product development, implementation, internships, cooperative education programs, or technical support. \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \nFoundational knowledge of software development methodologies, programming concepts, and object-oriented design principles. \nBasic analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \nUnderstanding of software testing concepts and debugging techniques. \nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies. \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience or academic exposure in Android Mobile Applications development using the following: \no Java Native\no Android Studio\no Android development using Java\no Eclipse\no HTML5, Javascript, CSS\no SQL\nKnowledge in Java OOP and Design patterns \nNice to haves: \no IOS Development\no Angular 1\no PhoneGap/Apache Cordova\no Ionic Framework\no REST API\no XML\no SOAP
