With technologies ranging from .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, AWS and Azure, you’ll have opportunities to deepen your expertise, explore new areas, and grow your career.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll do\n Own delivery of services: Take responsibility for the engineering and delivery of small-to-medium services (or major components of larger services) across the full lifecycle, from design and build through to deployment, operation and continual improvement.\nLead on architecture and design: Take ownership of the end-to-end design of components or services, producing and maintaining high-quality documentation. \nSupport delivery planning: Partner with Delivery Managers to plan and structure technical activities, provide accurate and commercially sound estimates, and proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, issues and dependencies.\nBuild stakeholder trust: Act as a trusted technical advisor to client counterparts, partner organisations and third parties, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.\nWhat you’ll bring\n 5+ years ’ proven experience in a Full Stack Engineering role, with advanced skills in .NET, Java or Python, plus modern JavaScript libraries.\nExperience taking ownership of delivery for services or significant components across the full lifecycle from design to operation.\nStrong understanding of architectural and design patterns, including serverless and microservices, with the ability to lead and assure their application.\nExperience working in Agile environments, using Scrum, Kanban and test-driven development (TDD), and contributing to delivery planning and estimation.\nExperience mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers, providing guidance and enabling high quality, efficient delivery.\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience working in a consultancy environment, engaging with external stakeholders and clients.\nExposure to public sector projects and delivering solutions in complex organisational landscapes.\nHow you’ll work\nOur work is varied, fast-moving and often complex.
