You will collaborate closely with customers, platform teams, and manufacturing to deliver robust, production-ready designs.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop automotive components and fluid assemblies from concept to production\nSupport end-to-end product development lifecycle including design, validation, and launch\nCollaborate with customers, account managers, and platform teams to define product requirements\nEstablish design parameters and manufacturing feasibility for automotive components\nGuide designers on fabrication, processing, and assembly considerations\nExecute and implement programs through APQP / AQP methodologies\nCreate and approve engineering drawings, material specifications, and performance criteria\nConduct failure mode analysis (DFMEA) and ensure design robustness\nDevelop and execute design validation plans (DVP&R) and testing reports\nDrive design standardization and simplification to improve cost and efficiency\nCoordinate prototype development, testing, and submission\nEnsure all engineering and program objectives are achieved within timelines\nTechnical requirements\n5+ years of experience in automotive engineering / product design engineering\nStrong expertise in automotive component design and fluid systems engineering\nHands-on experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and APQP (AQP) processes\nExperience in design validation, failure analysis, and product testing\nStrong understanding of manufacturing feasibility and production processes\nProficiency in engineering drawings, CAD tools, and design documentation\nAbility to manage end-to-end product development programs\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills in design engineering\nGood proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nStrong communication skills with ability to work with global stakeholders and customers\nAdditional responsibilities\nExperience in Automotive Tier-1 suppliers or OEM environment\nExposure to fluid systems, fuel systems, or thermal management components\nAbility to communicate in English\nAbility to work across cross functional team (CFT)\nExperience in prototype development and testing coordination\nEarly experience in program management or cross-functional leadership\nKnowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA)\nPreferred skills\nDomain->Automotive->Automotive -
