Azure DevOps

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Administrator to manage, configure, and support the Azure DevOps platform across the organization. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Azure DevOps administration, user and access management, repository governance, CI/CD platform support, security, and process standardization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure DevOps Services projects, repositories, pipelines, and agent pools.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Configure and manage Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
• Support development teams with CI/CD pipeline setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Manage self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build/release agents.
• Implement governance, compliance, and security best practices across the DevOps platform.
• Configure project templates, branch policies, pull request workflows, and repository standards.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and performance.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.
• Perform platform upgrades, maintenance, audits, and access reviews.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for Azure DevOps-related issues.

Technical requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Administration.
• Expertise in Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience managing build agents, service connections, and deployment environments.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and repository management.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) integration and access management.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience in troubleshooting pipeline, permissions, and integration issues.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Understanding of DevSecOps and security compliance practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
